Falling in love!

Ceremony and Reception Site

Picture
Our ceremony and reception will take place at Glades Pike winery in Somerset PA. The ceremony will be outside (praying for no rain!!) in the gazebo located in the mist of the beautful vinyards. The reception is just steps away in the Glades Pike Winery Banquet Hall. It will be a beautiful experience for everyone!

Photographer

Michelle Lenhart Photography is our photographer and she also shot our lovely engagement session. She is wonderful and we can't wait to share our day with her and see all of the beautiful photos she does for us. She has a photojournalistic style but will also give you some of the traditional posed pictures that you want. Here is a link to her page http://www.lenhartphoto.com/. She really is great to work with!

Food!

We were lucky enough to be able to pick whichever caterer we wanted because the winery does not have an on site cater. After a lot of research and talking among friends we went with Duanes Cafe on Grove (http://www.duanescafeongrove.com/). Duane came highly recommended from our friends who used him for their wedding. He is based out of Greensburg PA. Duane and his wife have been great to work with.

Music (ceremony and reception)

For the ceremony we are going with the classical guitarist Brannon Lyons http://www.brannonlyons.com/. I found Brannon on theknot.com and he has been great to work with so far. He does free consultations and he came to us, we didnt have to worry about going to him. It was important that we hired live music for the ceremony as both Don and I are musicians. Don plays guitar so I trusted him to tell me what he thought of Brannon. He is a great guitar player and exactly what we were looking for.

The reception music was a little easier for us to decide on. Don has a few friends who are DJ's so we ended up going with someone that was recommended by friends. Joshua Przbyla from Pittsburgh East Entertainment will be the DJ on our big day. If you want his contact information please send me an email and I will gladly pass it along!
